Gingerbread Spice Cocktail
December is the one month every year that I feel like I can truly celebrate gingerbread. I will devour anything gingerbread-related, whether it’s cookies, cakes, or candy. This year, in anticipation of the holiday parties I knew I would be hosting, I decided the ultimate way to enjoy gingerbread would be a cocktail. Genius, right?
Gluten Free Apple Pie Bacon Cheddar Crisp
Pig of the Month has the perfect solution, for a gluten free dessert that is so good no one will even know it’s a “special” dessert. Adding crisp fried Pig of the Month Apple Pie Bacon and using sharp cheddar cheese to top the cinnamon-y baked goodness of the apples, is our delicious rendition to the classic apple pie.Christmas cookies: Eat it or gift it!
Let's agree that December, is a month to treat ourselves with nice homemade sweets. There is no better way to say thank you than by giving a little box of cookies prepared with love in your kitchen.
Get your apron on and choose a recipe!
You can easily gift them, carefully sealed in a container. Even though they probably won't last too long, just know that you can store them up to one week in an airtight container. But who am I kidding, the cookies weren't even cooled, and half of the batch was already gone. I had to hide a few to be able to share these cuties with you!
I know the statement "My diet starts next week." very well, I say it month after month. If that's the case for you, you might want to consider this quinoa salad. If not, here are some tasty recipes for you.
If you are baking for a nut-free environment or want to stay classic, you can't go wrong with those shortbread cookies. The warmth of the sugary-buttery mix will make you eat them by the handful.

Is it cold outside? Are you are in a hot chocolate and marshmallows kind of mood? No problem, we got you covered with those oh so addictive almond-chocolate shortbread bites. Cinnamon Bun Bacon Cinnamon Buns
Cinnamon Bun Bacon is the best invention EVER. It tastes just like a cinnamon bun and bacon rolled together in every deliciously crispy bite. This makes it more than perfect to add to homemade cinnamon buns!Cranberry Sangria
Cheers to the holidays, friends!
Christmas is next week! How did that creep up so fast? If you're anything like me, you're frantically planning your holiday get togethers, trying to find the perfect (and easiest) recipes to serve your family and friends. When it comes to cocktail hour, my family takes their drinks very seriously. Instead of stocking an entire bar, this year I'm going straight for buckets of sangria to serve.
Any holiday festivities you have planned NEED this sangria. It's full of the traditional holiday flavors you know and love, plus it brings an extra festive element to any get together with the fresh cranberries and cinnamon sticks floating about.
You'll be hard pressed to find anyone who will turn down a second glass... Or third.
INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher ad refrigerate for at least 5 to 6 hours before serving (ideally overnight).

Boozy Crockpot Apple Cider
Who's thirsty?! Instead of hitting the wine this Wine Wednesday, I'm breaking out my slow cooker for some serious boozy deliciousness...
Nothing says fall and winter quite like a warm mug full of mulled apple cider. Cuddling up in a warm blanket, next to a wood burning fire, with some Netflix binging lined up for the remainder of the evening is how I like to take it easy.
This recipe is great to make and keep on hand in your refrigerator for the week so you can enjoy it each night, but it also works great as a holiday cocktail for your next party! Serve it up in some mugs with cinnamon sticks and everyone will go absolutely nuts over this stuff. It's highly addictive because it's so dang comforting. No matter how cold it gets outside, a glass of this cider will always warm ya right back up in moments.
The ingredients are super simple and the effort is basically NOTHING. Just dump it all in and let it simmer for the day. When you're ready to serve, stir in the vodka! We wouldn't want any of that booze burning off in the cooking process, now would we? ;)
I know what I am going to be whipping up all weekend long... And now you do too!
