Mail Order Gourmet Foods and Smoked Meats
Shipping meat is a tricky process, so listen up… we’ve tested everything literally hundreds of times and this is what we’ve come up with:
The meat is frozen and packaged and then put into an insulated box with plenty of dry ice. It’s a packaging combination that will insure your products arrive cold and ready to be chowed down on safely!
Perishable gifts CANNOT be sent over the weekend. FedEx doesn’t move packages on the weekends and we don’t want your meat sitting around in a warehouse getting icky.
Your order will be delivered by 7pm by FedEx — we cannot control how quickly they deliver it on the day requested… but we’ve heard if you slip them free BBQ they deliver your stuff first. Just a thought...
We can get your package to you when you want it! When you place your order, you will have the option to specify your own date of delivery based on availability.
Packages cannot be delivered on Sundays or Mondays. They will only be delivered on a Tuesday if you live within 1 day ground of Ohio or select overnight delivery. Orders are shipped Monday – Wednesday only.
We make everything to order, so there can be a 2-3 processing time from the time you place your order.
To guarantee delivery, we must have proper and complete addresses. Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or A.P.O. and F.P.O. addresses. We’ll gladly deliver to rural routes with complete addresses and telephone numbers.
Due to import/export restrictions, we are unable to ship our products outside the United States.
**You will receive a notification email with your tracking number when your order ships. Please let any gift recipients know to expect a perishable package. FedEx will leave the package at the recipient’s address and the contents will remain frozen into the evening. Pig of the Month cannot be responsible for damage to unclaimed gifts or incorrect address information. If the recipients are not available that evening to receive the package, Pig of the Month cannot be responsible. It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure recipients are going to be home on the date of delivery.
